F9 Fluorite with quartz, Fluorite Claims, beaver County, Utah. Fluorite that ranges from colorless to light green and violet. The fluorite is present as cubes with the largest being about1.5cm. The green color is much more intense in sunlight. Several generations of colorless and milky white quartz crystals are present on a number of the pieces. Notice that on some pieces the fluorite has grown on the quartz and others the quartz is the later mineral. Some of the quartz crystals are present as reverse scepters.
