TYUYAMUNITE

Tyuyamunite is a rather uncommon mineral. The material from the Marie mine is of among the worlds finest. Currently the mine is considered a hazardous materials site by the U.S. government; future specimen production from the mine is unlikely at best. The above pictures are some random shots of the Marie mine material.

10/15/2005 News.... the Marie mine is closed and only a few specimens remain, once they are sold there will not be any more.
