01991 Rosasite and hemimorphite, Summit Mine,
Broadwater County, Montana. A lengthy central vug is exposed in this
piece and it is host to several small groups of colorless hemimorphite that do
not exceed 2cm in size. Scattered spherical growths of blue-green rosasite

Spessartine, Garnet Hill, White Pine County, Nevada. Well formed
dark red spessartine tucked back into a shallow cavity in the rhyolite matrix.
The garnet is just under 1cm across, no damage. Like most garnets, the
pieces from Garnet Hill are of mixed composition. Available published

01912 Sphalerite, Black Warrior Mine, Park County,
Montana. Crystals of very dark sphalerite are present on a matrix of
crude galena crystals. Although the best crystals are present on one end
and could easily be trimmed into a nice smaller piece, I left this one a bit
large as there are several microcrystals of sphalerite scattered about the piece. Measures

Sphalerite with chalcopyrite, Queen of the Hills Mine, Cascade County, Montana.
This piece is host to two large sphalerite crystals. Both of the
sphalerites are dusted with minor amounts of chalcopyrite. The sphalerite
on the right is just shy of 3cm across. No damage, although the
sphalerites are heavily fractured. Measures

Stilpnomelane, Blanchard Mountain, Skagit County, Washington. A massive,
rich specimen of the relatively uncommon mineral stilpnomelane with quartz from
this classic Washington locality. At most localities, stilpnomelane
occurs as relatively small crystals, at the Blanchard Mountain locality, the
mineral is abundant and specimens such as this can be obtained. Measures
