01248 Analcime, Near Wapiti, Park County,
Wyoming. Rounded knob of matrix covered front and back with both colorless
and milky white crystals of analcime. In my opinion this is the best of
the Wyoming analcime pieces offered here and is very good for the state.
A few rounded growths of a secondary oxide are present on the surface, they are
easily removed if the new owner should desire to do so. No damage. Measures

01888 Anatase on quartz, Rutströmsselet,
Vassijaure, Kiruna, Lappland, Sweden. This partial quartz crystal is
host to a few pale blue anatase crystals. The largest anatase crystal is
perhaps 1mm in length and there are other smaller crystals on the back side of
the piece. Several of the anatase crystals are partially included in the

Anatase with brookite, Little Gem Mine, Jefferson County, Montana.
Stair-step anatase microcrystals with brookite line vugs in this largish piece.
The anatase varies from nearly black to a light golden brown and the brookite is
an orange-brown. A few crystals show some damage but many are

Montana. Thin crust of very small multi-colored descloizite microcrystals
cover the front of this piece. The descloizite ranges from light
orange-red to purplish black. Along the lower left of the specimen is a
group of light amber descloizite crystals that appear to have formed around
vanadinite that has since been taken back into solution. No

the front of this piece is a narrow stringer of open cavities which are lined
with colorless and snowy white quartz. On top of the quartz is a

Jefferson County, Montana. Divergent sprays of epidote on pale pinkish
microcline with minor quartz. The terminations of the epidote crystals are
tucked between the microcline, the outside edge of the epidote is a contact

"garnet", pyrite, and quartz, Maud-S Mine, Beaver County, Utah.
Thick blocky crystals of mixed composition garnets are host to deep green
epidote crystals. Numerous poorly formed quartz crystals are present along
with microcrystals of pyrite. Some of the epidote crystals have an etched
appearance while others are perfect. This piece could easily be trimmed
into several smaller pieces but one would loose the benefits of the associated

front of this piece is crossed by a narrow cavity which is host to numerous
crystals of "garnet", epidote, quartz, and titanite. The epidote crystals

formed. Tucked deep in the cavity are a few pale yellow titanite crystals. No
