Wyoming. Rounded knob of matrix covered front and back with both colorless
and milky white crystals of analcime. In my opinion this is the best of
the Wyoming analcime pieces offered here and is very good for the state.
A few rounded growths of a secondary oxide are present on the surface, they are
easily removed if the new owner should desire to do so. No damage. Measures

01888 Anatase on quartz, Rutströmsselet,
Vassijaure, Kiruna, Lappland, Sweden. This partial quartz crystal is
host to a few pale blue anatase crystals. The largest anatase crystal is
perhaps 1mm in length and there are other smaller crystals on the back side of
the piece. Several of the anatase crystals are partially included in the

cover the front of this piece. The descloizite ranges from light
orange-red to purplish black. Along the lower left of the specimen is a

Thick blocky crystals of mixed composition garnets are host to deep green
epidote crystals. Numerous poorly formed quartz crystals are present along
with microcrystals of pyrite. Some of the epidote crystals have an etched
appearance while others are perfect. This piece could easily be trimmed
into several smaller pieces but one would loose the benefits of the associated

epidote, quartz, and others, Milford Quarry, Beaver County, Utah. Eighteen
pieces with a number of different minerals present in the cavities. The
real "prize" would be the fluorite which occurs as colorless and deep purple
octahedrons and is present on at least on piece as perfect crystals and is
present on others as lesser crystals. Other minerals form the locality
include, two feldspars, quartz, epidote, fluorite, magnetite, brookite,
titanite, laumontite, and others that escape me at the moment. The
smallest piece is 1.5cm across and most minerals are present as sub-millimeter
