"Washtub" Mine, Broadwater
County, Montana
While the original name of this small mine has been
lost to time, the numerous washtubs scattered about the workings provide a
convenient name. The workings consist of two shallow shafts driven on
rusty stringers cutting Paleozoic Quadrant Quartzite.

The dumps to one of the shafts at the "Washtub" mine with
several washtubs in mid spring, 2004.
