Silver Star Mine, Broadwater
County, Montana
Several shafts on the Silver Star mine property explored weakly mineralized
fractures and replacement bodies near a fault cutting Paleozoic Quadrant
Quartzite. The mine has been a source of wulfenite, vanadinite, mimetite,
descloizite, and rarely hemimorphite with epitactic quartz.

The dump to the deepest shaft on the property, it reaches
nearly 100 feet.
