Silver Star Mine, Broadwater County, Montana
Several shafts on the Silver Star mine property explored weakly mineralized fractures and replacement bodies near a fault cutting Paleozoic Quadrant Quartzite.  The mine has been a source of wulfenite, vanadinite, mimetite, descloizite, and rarely hemimorphite with epitactic quartz.

The dump to the deepest shaft on the property, it reaches nearly 100 feet.

Two of the heavy grates covering the shafts at the Silver Star.
