Rothfuss Iron Mine, Broadwater County, Montana
The Rothfuss Iron mine produced fluxing ores that were used in the great smelters at Butte. The mine is developed by several adits and shafts as well as large open cuts. The mine has produced rare specimens of secondary copper minerals.
