Rebel Mine, Beaver County, Utah
The Rebel mine is located a short distance from the
Harrington-Hickory mine. Like the Harrington-Hickory, the Rebel explored
silver-lead mineralization near a limestone/igneous contact. The mine was
rapidly developed in the 1880's. Workings at the mine consist of a few
adits, shallow shafts, and one deep exploratory shaft.

The main dumps to the Rebel mine. The deep
exploratory shaft is near the center of the dump and the main adit to the mine
is located above and to the right of the dump.
