Pennsylvania Mine, Broadwater County, Montana.
The Pennsylvania was a copper prospect. At one time the mine was controlled by Butte interests and was heavily explored. While ore grade mineralization was not encountered, the mine has produced a few specimens of secondary copper minerals. This mine just happens to be owned by my next door neighbors.
The dumps to the main shaft of the Pennsylvania. The shaft is reported have been 600 feet deep but has been backfilled.
