Available
00690 Barite, Pack Rat Mine, Carbon County,
Montana. This piece is one of my favorites from the mine, and has
more or less been in my personal collection. I have offered for sale a few
times, but never put much effort into it. If it sells fine, if not I am
happy to keep it. This is one of the largest pieces ever produced from the
mine, I should know, I collected just about all of them. Unlike many of
the pieces from the mine, this piece has more depth. The barite rosettes
lie scattered about in a pleasing arrangement with two of the main barite groups
in the upper center. They are composed of crystals in the 6cm range with
numerous smaller groups flanking them. This piece displays well and has
more luster than most pieces from the mine. No noticeable damage. Measures
30x23x10cm $1200.00 Email
