01986 Epidote with quartz, Green Monster
Mine, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. Two main epidote crystals have
grown together to form this piece. Several quartz crystals have grown on
the epidote and a few of the quartz crystals have inclusions of magnetite
microcrystals. A very light layer of quartz microcrystals has grown on
both the epidote and the larger quartz crystals. Certainly unique.
