01976 Epidote, Green Monster
Mine, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. Very possibly the finest
specimen produced during the 2008 mining season. The piece has numerous
crystals of epidote that are very bright and lustrous and have the classic form
for the locality. Minor colorless quartz crystals are present on the piece
as well. There is a healed scar from where another crystal had once been
attached to the piece. Sadly, a few small crystal had to be reattached to
the piece, they are present on the upper left in the first photo; the repaired
crystals could easily be removed. Measures 6 x 5 x 4cm. $175.00 Email
