Vanadinite with calcite, Thanksgiving Pocket Extension, North Home Mine,
Broadwater County, Montana. Likely the finest single specimen
recovered from the mine. Numerous gently curving crystals of vanadinite
are topped with snowy white patches of calcite crystals; much of the
calcite has only been deposited on one side of the vanadinite crystals.
