01285 Epidote, Green Monster Mine, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. Divergent spray of dark green epidote with lighter grass green terminations. Pieces such as this have only been found at the locality in the last few years indicating that their occurrence is quite limited and the likelihood of great quantities of similar material is really low. A few small quartz crystals are present on the surface of the epidote. Some very minor damage is present along the edges but the piece is quite good for the habit.
