RNa9   Heulandite-Ca with mordenite, Rat's Claim, Custer County, Idaho.   Heulandite-Ca with minor accessory Mordenite in two pockets, one on each side of the specimen.   The Heulandite-Ca has a soft, almost two-toned color, grading from a clearish - white to a wonderful pinkish color in sharp, beautiful crystals. Crystals of Heulandite-Ca go up almost 4cm and are quite lustrous, catching and flashing in the light. This specimen is one of 3 such double-pocket, double-sided specimens and is the second largest geode-like pocket recovered from the Rat's Nest claim. The front pocket here is very attractive, while the back pocket, a large pocket, is much less attractive due to a coating of calcite while obscures some Heulandite-Ca crystals. This specimen displays a long shape very reminiscent of a peanut..  Measures 45.7 x 16.5 x 28cm.  $1250.00
