RNa2 Heulandite-Ca with mordenite, Rat's
Claim, Custer County, Idaho. . The Rat's Nest claim is the United States premier
locality for Heulandite-Ca and Mordenite. The Heulandite-Ca has a soft, almost
two-toned color, grading from a clearish - white to a wonderful pinkish color in
sharp, beautiful crystals. Crystals of Heulandite-Ca average 2 centimeters in
size and are quite lustrous, catching and flashing in the light. This specimen
has a presence and displays very well. Measures 33 x 21.6 x 28cm.
