01897 Pyromorphite, Rosenberg Mine, Bad Ems,
Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Small thumbnail from one of Germany's
famous localities. Numerous tan crystals of pyromorphite are present in a
sub-parallel curving group. There is a slight contact at both the top and
bottom of the piece, likely where the piece was originally attached to the
matrix. Measures 2x1.5x1cm.

mine, Svappavaara, Kiruna, Lappland, Sweden. Several spherical growths of
beraunite which range in color from greenish white through dark, nearly black,
green. Associated with the beraunite are a few small groups of violet

01883 Chlorargyrite with hidalgoite and
scorodite, 125 Level, Gold Hill Mine, Tooele County, Utah. Small
vugs in massive hidalgoite and scorodite are host to a few chlorargyrite
microcrystals. The chlorargyrite crystals vary from those that are sharp
and well defined to those that are best described as waxy blobs. The
largest chlorargyrite crystal is perhaps 0.75mm in size. No damage. Measures

01868 Ferrierite-Mg, Kamloops Lake, British
Columbia, Canada. Very thin crust of ferrierite-Mg microcrystals, no
matrix. The crystals range from colorless to those that are a rich reddish
orange color. Glued in a perky box. No damage.
